The Paris RER is a railway network with 5 lines for a total lenght of 587 kms (365 miles), 2 different organisms are in charge of the Paris RER, the RATP and the SNCF.They go through Paris to its suburbs:
-The extreme terminus for the Paris RER A are:
*Saint-Germain-en-Laye - *Poissy - *Cergy-le Haut - *Boissy-St-Léger - *Marne-la-Vallée- Chessy
The extreme terminus for the Paris RER B are:
*Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV- *Mitry-Claye- *Robinson - *St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse
The extreme terminus for the Paris RER C are:
*Pontoise- *Versailles- Rive Gauche- *Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines- *Massy-Palaiseau- *Versailles-Chantiers- *Dourdan-la Forêt- *Saint-Martin-d'Etampes
The extreme terminus for the Paris RER D are:
*Creil- *Corbeil- Essonnes- *Melun- *Malesherbes-
The extreme terminus for the Paris RER E are:
*Haussman Saint-Lazare - * Chelles- Gournay- *Tournan
Some well-known place where you can go by using the Paris RER are:
-Disneyland- RER A Direction Marne la vallee-chessy, you will stop close to the park
-Charles de Gaulle airport- RER B
-Châtelet les halles- RER A, B, D
You may be careful when using the RER because they split on different directions, you have to know what train to catch. Each Rer owns a name.
One more thing to know it's the Paris RER have connections with 4 railways stations in Paris, it doesn't go to the Paris Montparnasse and Gare de l'Est railways stations.
